How long will the treatment last?

  • feel most effective for at least 10 sessions.

  • 5 days per week ( Monday to Friday ). 10-session package is 2 consecutive weeks.

  • Saturday and Sundays are rest days.

  • If there’s doctor’s appointment during weekends. Treatment can be done on Saturdays.

  • Jamu Postnatal Treatment is 60 minutes, suggested belly wrapt o be kept on for at least 6-8 hours.


When can I start treatment?

  • Treatment that starts within 90 days after delivery achieves best results. 

  • For natural delivery, treatment can start 1 week after delivery. This allows you to have enough time to rest and prepare for the treatment. 

  • For C-section, it is best to start treatment 4-6 weeks after delivery. We suggest to consult with doctor before treatments to make sure the body is ready for abdominal massage and belly binding. If the wound has not recovered, we suggest to postpone treatment start date.


What are the reactions during bellybinding treatment?

  • You may feel thirsty, urge to urinate and tired, this is due to stimulations to blood circulation and lymphatic system during massage.

  • We suggest to drink plenty of water after treatment as it'll help to flush out the accumulated materials from your body.


When should I make an appointment?

  • 3 months prior to baby’s due date is ideal.

  • Some mothers may choose to book earlier or later. Please contact us before due date, we will arrange treatment schedule tentatively. 


What should I do if I haven’t confirmed my delivery method and date?

  • Initial booking is to confirm no. of sessions and therapist available time slots. After Delivery, you may inform us final delivery method, we will then make final confirmation of treatment period. 


What should I do if the bookings are full?

  • When therapist bookings are full, please inform us your ideal treatment period, we will contact you if it is available later.

What are the transportation cost usually? 

  • At-home service, daily transportation fee HK$60-$180up applies depending on location.

Is Massage Table Provided? 

  • Yes, massage table available if needed. Delivery plus rental fee is hk$600. ( one-time fee for all sessions ). Delivery for Tung Chung is hk$750; for Discovery Bay is hk$920.


What do I need to prepare at home before starting the treatment? 

  • Belly & Bloom will prepare massage oil, natural tummy mask, traditional belly binders.

  • Mama needs to prepare: 2 large towels / bedsheet to cover bed / massage table, 2 towels to cover yourself; 1 mid-size to cover eyes.

  • For mothers who breastfeed, we suggest to nurse / breast pump before treatment. 


Payment Procedure 

  • A deposit of hk$2000 is required to secure bookings.

  • Balance has to be settled upon first session of treatment. 

  • We accept bank transfer, FPS, Payme.

  • Deposit is non refundable and non transferable. 


Bad Weather Arrangement 

  • In case of typhoon no. 8 or black rain warning, treatment will be postponed, we will contact client for further arrangement.
